Roger A. Peck Roger A. Peck, 90, of North Port, FL passed away peacefully on December 31, 2006. He was born January 30, 1916 in Summit, NY to Warner and Lulu Davis Peck. He graduated from Richmondville Central High School in 1934 and went to work for Alexander Aker. He married Mildred VanBuren in 1940 and moved to Oneonta, NY, where he was employed at Linn Tractor and Trailer. In 1948 Mr. Peck moved his family to Millersburg, Ohio where he worked for Flxible until his retirement as Plant Manager in 1982. Ten years later Mr. Peck married Roena Riese and finally settled in North Port, FL in 1995. Survivors include his wife, Roena of North Port; son, Jacob (Betty) Peck of Minerva, OH; brother, R. Douglas Peck and sister Margaret (Donald) Boughton both of Richmondville, NY; 2 grandsons, Brian and Eric Peck; 3 great granddaughters, Marlee, Zoey, and McCally Peck; 2 stepsons, Joseph (Jennifer) Benyo and Robert Benyo; step-grandchildren, Alexandra, Addison, and Michael Rees-Benyo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. In addition to his first wife, Mr. Peck was also preceded in death by his brother Donald and son Marc. A Gathering will be held Sunday, January 7, 2007 from 1-3 PM at the Holiday Park Clubhouse, Holiday Park Boulevard in North Port, FL. Memorial Donations may be made in Mr. Peck’s honor to Port Charlotte TideWell Hospice House c/o 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34238. Arrangements are being handled by Farley Funeral home, North Port, FL. Friends may visit anytime online at www.farleyfuneralhome.com to sign a guest register book and extend condolences to the family.
