Roland "Ron" Baldwin

Roland Baldwin In loving memory of Roland (Ron) Baldwin, who died August 20, 2023, in Lakewood, Colorado, at age 90. Ron, the youngest of 5 sons, was born in Creighton, Nebraska, to parents Austin and Jessie Baldwin. After serving in the army, he graduated with a B.A. in Education from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. It was there he met his wife-to-be, Janice. Ron and Jan were married in June 1960 and moved to Denver, Colorado, where he taught math and science in Denver Public Schools for 30 years. After retiring from teaching, Ron kept busy with many interests and activities: gardening, volunteering, fishing, hunting, bicycling, and going out to breakfast with his friends. He is survived by his wife, Janice, four daughters (Linda, Tracy, Jennifer, and Renee), nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. His ashes will be interred at Fort Logan National Cemetery. His gregarious and generous nature, sense of humor, and zest for life will long be remembered by those who knew him.
