Ronald W. Reinke January 21, 1949 March 6, 2019 Ron W. Reinke passed in peace Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at the age of 70. Ron was preceded in death by his father Walter Reinke and survived by his mother Mildred Reinke, and his siblings; Margaret Brink, Bonnie Deegan, Mike Reinke and Doug Reinke. He was a loving father of his twin daughters, Amanda Mitchell and Laura Reinke. He was a proud grandfather of Alexandra Norton, Miranda Dolsman, Tyler Dolsman, Garrett Dolsman, and Autumn Dolsman and a great-grandfather of Dillon Norton. Ron was born January 21, 1949 in Bottineau, North Dakota. He spent his early years in Upham, ND. He graduated from Bottineau High School in 1967. In 1974 he joined the US Army and was stationed at Fitzsimons in Aurora, Colorado. He lived in Leadville, Colorado for several years and worked as an electrician at the Black Cloud Mining Company. He later moved back to Denver where he eventually retired from Excel Energy in 2012. Ron had a passion for the outdoors, specifically interested in geology and loved to collect rocks along with an interest in wood work. He spent time watching his grandkids at their sporting events, spent quality time with family for holidays, and found joy in travel and exploration in the mountains. He was known for his generous personality and his kind and compassionate spirit. Private family services were held and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
