September 6th, 1930 - April 15th, 2015
Rose Garcia passed away peacefully at her home on April 15, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband Nick Garcia. She is survived by 3 children. Nick Don Garcia, Priscilla Cruz (Larry), and Leonard Garcia. 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Rose was born on September 6, 1930 in Bristol Colorado near Trinidad Colorado to John and Priscilla Lechuga. She married Nick Garcia in Trinidad Colorado. She had 5 brothers and 2 sisters all that have passed on. Abel Lechuga, Adam Lechuga, Don Lechuga, John Lechuga, Esther Zamora and Tillie Edwards. She also had a brother George Lechuga who preceded in death many years ago. She has a surviving sister in law Eulalia (Lollie) Lechuga who was married to Adam. Rose worked in the Hotel industry in Denver with most of her working years at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Denver. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved taking trips to Las Vegas and Central City/Black Hawk. She always remembered her trip to Mexico with her sister Esther. She loved her dogs a lot. Her favorite dogs that most of us remember are Herman (her 3 legged dog), Brandy and Snooky. Besides her family, she will be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews who all have fond memories of her as she is the last Lechuga of her generation. A family/friends get together will be scheduled at a later date.
