September 30th, 1935 - April 28th, 2024
Rose Wegner, 88, Whitewater passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at her home. Rose was born on September 30. 1935 in Fort Atkinson to August and Helen (Meyers) Punzel. She married Neil Wegner on January 24, 1953. She worked for Fairhaven Senior Living in their food service department for 13 years. Rose enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting, and playing yard games. Cooking was a great pleasure for her. She is survived by her children Linda Wegner, Fort Atkinson, Douglas (Theresa) Wegner, Mukwanago, WI and Lisa (Rich) Koprek, Mayville, WI; Grandchildren Bryan Carmichael and Shawna Koprek; great-granddaughter Scarlett. Burial will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson.

In 1984, his son Russ knew it was time to offer professional, compassionate services to the Fort Atkinson community, and we constructed a new funeral home to address its needs. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the community, and have grown our family alongside the community for three generations....
