Rosemary Carufel

Rosemary Carufel, 78, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Born August 14, 1943, she moved here in 1984 from Pawtucket, RI, she was a homemaker, had worked as a waitress and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winter Haven. She loved roses, crafts and was the top waitress at Ryans in Winter Haven. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; four brothers, Thomas, Patrick, Jack, Michael; a sister, Patricia; and a nephew John. She is survived by a son Robert Carufel and his wife Nell of Winter Haven; a daughter, Robin Tucker of Winter Haven; her companion of twelve years, Leonard Meddings; six grandchildren, Matt (Shahnee), Kimberly (Tiffany), Ashley (Jesse) Nicole (Chad), Brittney (Roly), and Kristen (Ryan); twelve great grandchildren; a niece, Chris (Mike); and two great nieces, Tracy (Steve) and April (Mike).
