Rosezella Belle Mather
June 30th, 1910 - September 23rd, 2004
Rosezella Belle Mather, 94, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2004 in Mesa, AZ. She was born June 30, 1910 in Dawson, OK to Charlie E. Stamper and Geraldine H. Meade. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Abner H. Mather; her parents and siblings, Lloyd, Myrtle and Clark Stamper and Osborne Newport. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Walter L. Stewart Lora E. and many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted wife, mother and sister. Rosezella began working for Civil Service in the shops and on the flight line at W.A.F.B. when the field opened in 1942 until she and Abner moved to Roseville, CA in 1957. She then worked at McClelland AFB until herretirement in 1972. After her husband's death, Rosezella returned to Mesa in 1994. Graveside services will be on Saturday, October 2 at the Mesa City Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
