Butch, my brother in Christ and brother from in life. We had wonderful times together. We played softball and in a tournament we were 8 for 8 after two games. Our team mates made it a contest to see who would make the first out. After each going 12 for 12 l made an out. Butch gets 2 more hits. Golfing was a great time of fellowship. Butch,Tim,Bud and l treat each like brothers if you know what l mean. I always looked forward to bass fishing Everytime l came down. My heart is heavy but our lost is our saviours gain. What a blessing it was to have a friend like Butch.

So many memories!! Mandie and Mariah’s friendship was the beginning of our meeting Butch and Millie. After many grill outs at our pool and screen porch Butch and Millie really fooled us with the “eat dirt” dessert and remember the awesome night on the beach watching fantastic shooting stars. So many trips together to the outer banks eating steamed shrimp for a week. So many dinners at I’ll Giardino restorante in VA Beach. Love this family. I’ll send pictures soon ...

Shrimp from Jaws Seafood that lasted a full week & usually drove us out of the cottage as the apple cider vinegar steamed up and limited the oxygen level. Butch and I drove down to Oregon Inlet, NC to watch the fishing boats return. We then posed in front of the fish as if we just returned from the sea. Playing golf at numerous locations in Virginia and North Carolina with Butch always allowing for Mulligan’s. He would say “I payed to play so I can get as many mulligans as I want!”
