April 8th, 1931 - February 8th, 2015
West Columbia - Funeral Services for Ruth M. Crumpton, 83, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Congaree Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Crumpton went to be with her Lord, on Sunday, February 8, 2014. She was born in Aiken County, SC to the late Robert L and Maggie Mae Hutto. She worked for L.A. Marsha Textile for over 30 years and was a member of Congaree Baptist Church. Mrs. Crumpton is survived by her sons, Robert Crumpton of Salley and Raymond Crumpton (Heather) of West Columbia; sister, Ann Way of Salley; grandchildren, Ryan Crumpton of West Columbia, Robby Crumpton (Leigh Anne) of Salley, Ronnie Crumpton (Lynn), Samantha Sheppard, Brandon Sheppard and Ridge Crumpton all of West Columbia; great grandchildren, Cooper, Brooklyn and Grayson. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Randall Crumpton; and her granddaughter, Terrie Rae Crumpton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Congaree Baptist Church Building Fund, 101 Pine Ridge Drive, West Columbia, SC 29172.
