Age 89, died March 20 surrounded by her loving family. Born April 26, 1925 in Stanton, ND, to parents Laura and Emil Sailer, Ruth is preceded in death by husband Don (2003) and sister Winifred. Survived by her sons, Tom (Leslie Leik) and Steve (Colleen) and daughter, Julie Vogel (Phil); brothers Weston Sailer and Wayne Sailer; nine grandchildren:, Matt McDonald (April), Ruth Lott (Steve), Laura Hegranes (Jose Dominguez), Andrew Hegranes, Trevor Hegranes (Stacy), Jordan Kitzman (Jared Hinkley), Michelle Vogel Bloomquist, Dylan Vogel, and Evan Vogel; and ten great-grandchildren, Hannah, Max, Alex, Esteban, Maddie, Elena, Tomas, Orlando, Cassie, and Joel. Memorial Service 1PM Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, 651-228-1006. Visitation 1 hour before the Service. Reception will follow the service. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra or Minnesota Public Radio.
