Ruth Jaynes

LAKE ALFRED, FLORIDA-Ruth Jaynes, 90, of Lake Alfred, FL, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012. She was born in Bedford, Indiana, and lived in Bloomfield with her family until moving to Lake Alfred, Florida in 2002. Ruth worked as a Sales Clerk for the Five & Dime Store, was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, IN., and she was a member of the Oddfellows & Rebekah Lodge. Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Lloyd H. Jaynes. She is survived by his son Howard and wife Mary, her daughter Ruth Ann, grandsons Rich and wife Kris, and Tony and wife Tracy. She also had 4 great-grandchildren: Allison, Ben, Josefine, and Mia, and her niece and nephews are Rose, Jeff, Jim, Bill, Randy, Rick & Paul. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to 10AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 AM from the funeral home chapel.
