Ruth Zabielski
June 14th, 1938 - March 1st, 2018
RUTH ANN ZABIELSKI, 79 yrs old of Nokomis, Florida passed peacefully on March 1, 2018 at Tidewell Hospice in Venice, Florida. Ruth was born to Wilbur and Alice (Kleidon) Kirschnick June 14, 1938 and raised on the southside of Chicago, Illinois. Ruth married Valentine John Zabielski on August 25th, 1956 and relocated a few years later to Eagle Lake Terrace in Kansasville, Wisconsin where together they raised 6 children. She is preceeded in death by her parents, beloved husband of 60 yrs, son Kevin and grandson Jason. Ruth retired from the State of Wisconsin- Southern Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled as a Resident Care Technician and later as a Therapy Assistant in the school in Union Grove Wisconsin. She also served in many capacities in the Local Union ending her career as the Vice President of AFSCME Local 892. In 2003, they moved to Kings Gate Club in Nokomis, Florida to enjoy their retirement years. Ruth was known by all for her outgoing personality and multi- tasking abilities during her lifetime. She will be greatly missed and will live in the hearts of her proud sons, Valentine Zabielski 3rd (Arlene), Jeffrey Zabielski (Tammy), Brian Zabielski (Alice) and her daughters, Cheryl Lynn Torres (Rafael), Wendy Sue Hurkman, Seven Grandchildren, Christopher Zabielski, Jessica Konecnik, Cassandra Biancuzzo, Cortney Bande, Avery Hurkman, Parker Hurkman, Rafael Torres and her Four Great Grandchildren, Kaleb, Gracie, Samuel and Levi. She will be laid to rest at Venice Memorial Gardens, Venice, Florida.
