Salvatore "Sam" Gerard Mannino

Salvatore “Sam” Mannino passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the age of 67. Sam was born February 10, 1956, in Michigan, to the late Joseph J. Mannino, Sr., and the late Pietrina M. Mannino. Along with his parents, Sam was preceded in death by his brother Peter Mannino and nephew David Mannino. Sam is survived by his sisters Justine (James) Cracchiolo and Antonia (Mark) Feldman, brothers Thomas (Annita) Mannino and Joseph (Laura) Mannino Jr., sister-in-law Maria Mannino, and 13 nieces and nephews. Sam worked at his family’s restaurant business, The Original Romano’s, in Farmington, Michigan in the 70’s and 80’s. Sam then worked as a Reservation Sales and Customer Care agent for Northwest Airlines and Delta Airlines for over 30 years, working first in their Dearborn and Livonia, Michigan offices, then transferring to the Tampa, Florida office in 2003. Sam’s family will hold a private inurnment ceremony in Michigan at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
