Age 23 Of West St. Paul Unbearably mourning the loss of Sam. Our boy who lived life to the fullest, always on the go, a cloud we’d never pin down. Our son, brother, relative, teammate, coach and friend who would do anything for anyone. Sam’s love knew no bounds for all of us and his dog, Boomer. Sam will be loved forever by his mom, Angela Dzik (Patrick Egan); father, Thomas Gottfredsen; his best friend and brother, Zach; his adoring sister, Kiera; his ‘book-end’ sister, Sarah; grandparents, Tom Dzik & Hannah McGraw Dzik and Rose & Tom Gottfredsen (decd.); many aunts, uncles and cousins; and the countless number of friends who brought joy to Sam’s life. Born on April 29th, 1994 and died of a fatal car accident on May 21st – his 23 years were lived with a full heart – evident to all by his constant smile. The truest ‘beauty’ there ever was. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Saturday, May 27 at the CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION, 51 West 7th Street, St. Paul. Private interment. Visitation 3-7 PM Friday, May 26 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul. Memorials preferred to family for later designation.
