A funeral service for Sandra C. Szabo, 50, of Lexington will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, 1205 Old Cherokee Road, Lexington, SC. Pastor Jeff Kersey will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6-8 PM Friday, August 14, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC Mrs. Szabo passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at her residence. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late H. Boyd Carson, Jr, and Joann Carson. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, she held a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. Sandra is survived by her mother, Joann Carson; her loving husband of 23 years, Michael Szabo, daughters, Courtney Szabo and Regan Szabo, both of Lexington; sister Cheryl Pullen of Charleston. She was predeceased by her father. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1205 Old Cherokee Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
