Sarah "Bette" E. McGuire

Sarah E. “Bette” McGuire Passed in peace Monday. August 2, 2021 at the age of 87. Bette is survived by her children, Tim and his wife Debbie McGuire and their son, Brian and great-granddaughter Harmony McGuire. Bette’s daughter Teresa “Teri” McGuire-Pach and husband Jeff Pach and Bette’s youngest son, Theodore “Teddy” McGuire. Bette is also survived by her loving baby brother Arthur “Artie” Robinson and his wife Nancy. “Aunt Bette’s” beloved nieces and nephews, are too numerous to mention, but they know who they are, and they know how much she loved them. Bette was born in East Orange, NJ on December 10, 1933, to Arthur Robinson and Isabella Louden-Robinson. She went on to graduate from Clifford J Scott High School in June of 1952. Bette was an accomplished singer, skier, organist and a lifelong dog lover. She traveled extensively with the love of her life, John who predeceased her in April of this year. She delighted in entertaining friends and family and if you were really lucky, she baked for you. She worked as a nurse, a bookkeeper and a ski instructor for many years, when she wasn’t camping, boating or fishing. Funeral Services are currently scheduled for Saturday September 18th at 10:00 AM at St. Pauls Parish in Belleview, FL In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army, one of her favorite charities, or a charity you support in her name.
