Saralyn Randall Crawford

In Loving Memory

Services for Saralyn Ann (Susie) Randall Crawford, of Mount Pleasant, SC (formerly of Columbia, SC) will be held graveside at 1pm on Tuesday, August 13th at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 7100 Garners Ferry Rd., Columbia, SC 29209. 

 

The family will receive friends at 12pm on Tuesday, August 13th at Thompson Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia, SC  29209.   

 

Mrs. Crawford passed away on August 9, 2024.  Born November 27, 1934 in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of Carey Enoch Randall and Ollie Bond Bondurant Randall.   

 

She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Charles R. Crawford, Jr.  She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Rion Crawford Mercer of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her son, Michael Carey Crawford of Jacksonville, FL; and her grandchildren, William Eaddy Mercer, III of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Sarah Elizabeth Mercer of Eugene, OR.  She was also predeceased by her parents and her brother, Carey Woodson Randall and is survived by her sister-in-law Marianne Randall, two nephews and one niece, along with grand-nieces and grand-nephews. 

 

She was a member of Shandon Presbyterian Church since 1955 and served as a Church School teacher. 

 

Mrs. Crawford attended City of Columbia public schools, graduating from University High School in 1953.  She also attended the University of South Carolina.   

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://act.alz.org.
