I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire funeral home staff for the care and compassion shown during my husband's funeral. Greg Edwards, the funeral director which was the funeral home manager, was incredibly patient with me and my family—especially as we made several changes during the arrangement process. His calm presence and understanding meant more than words can express. The staff as a whole was kind, helpful, and supportive, often stepping in to assist before we even had to ask. Their attention to detail and genuine care helped carry us through one of the hardest times of our lives. Thank you all for helping us honor my husband with such grace and respect.

I don't know where to start. My momma passed away March 25th 2025 and it was a hard hit. I felt that. I chose a funeral home, not knowing where to go or who to pick at one o'clock in the morning. Well I picked the wrong one. In a panic from being out of town, not knowing what was going on with my mama, I called thompson funeral home. They were there to pick up the pieces and put it all back together again. I talked to some lady and she said hunny let me get you to Greg. I never knew someone could care so much for someone you never knew. I talked to him told him my problem he said i will call you back in 10 mins. It felt like ever for that call but it was less then 10. He said i am sending a driver to pick her up at 5:30 pm. (It was 4pm) He had my momma picked up and safe. Everyone here treated the family with respect and dignity. I would get text just to check on me. I am so grateful for these people. I live out of state and was able to do everything by phone text and email. Thank you all for everything. My momma would of been so happy with yall. They even put her in a new urn for her boyfriend and made him feel welcomed. Greg i will always be so greatful for you and your team. Your friend for life. Debborah Anna Emmers

My parents had paid for and set-up most of their desires but, some decisions still had to be made as well as payments. Being from out of town made this process a little trickier but, Brittany Clark, Licensed Mortician, and Rachel Lucas, Family Service Advisor, were there for me with all the answers to my questions and help with whatever I needed. My mother’s graveside service turned out to be exactly what she wanted and exactly what her family and friends needed for closure.

The Wicker family appreciates all the help and suggestions that we received from Thompson Funeral Home during the passing of our mother (Elizabeth U. Wicker). Greg Edwards , General Manager was awesome in guiding us in every aspect. The funeral home staff treated us like family at a very difficult time in our lives. Thompson Funeral home provided everything that we needed, and more. They worked with us 100%.
