June 14th, 1968 - March 22nd, 2020
Shane Tyler Laine, 51, of Cloquet died Sunday, March 22, 2020 in his home. Shane was born June 14,1968 in Cloquet, the son of Arthur and Pauline (Maki) Laine. He loved to play darts, horseshoes and golf. He loved adventure. Shane climbed Pikes Peak, went skydiving, drove a NASCAR car. The bigger the adventure the bigger the thrill. Shane loved to help people, especially older folks. He loved giving hugs and would always say, "Who loves you?" Shane was very loving, caring and kind. He will be sadly missed. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clifford and Eleanor Maki; paternal grandparents, Edward and Impi Laine; uncles, Rodney Maki, Charles Laine, Lloyd Laine and Bobby Laine; and great aunt, Mabel Halvorson. Shane is survived by his parents, Pauline and Arthur Laine of Cloquet; brother, Troy (Amy Bilderback) Laine of Cloquet; sister, Misty Laine of Cloquet; nephew, Dallas (Cydney Schnorr) Laine of Hermantown; and a great-nephew, Easton Laine of Hermantown; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends he cared for deeply.
