Sharon L Babington of Venice, FL passed away Thursday April 22, 2021 at the age of 72. Sharon was born in Passaic, NJ on December 14, 1948. She was a longtime resident of Venice, FL graduating Venice High School in 1966. She is survived by her daughter; Jacqueline Marie Bliss and her husband Michael Ryan Bliss, her daughter Cynthia Anne Babington and her husband A.J. Harber, her grandchildren Michael Ryan Bliss Jr. and Erin Nicole Bliss, her brother Robert Brooks Matthews, his wife Laura Matthews and their two children Sydney and Austin Matthews, and her longtime companion James Kelly. Sharon was an incredibly hard working woman that was employed by Walmart and Sarasota Herald Tribune for over 20 years. She spent the last few years traveling all over to watch her favorite bands play in concerts. Sharon is now resting with her departed husband, mother and father. Services will be held at Farley Funeral Homes 265 Nokomis Avenue South in Venice on Sunday May 2, 2021 viewing to start at noon, with funeral services from 1pm - 2pm, followed by burial services at Gulf Pines Memorial Park at 2:30pm. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Francis Animal Shelter or Tidewell Hospice.
