October 6th, 1957 - December 16th, 2016
Sharon Elaine "Reed" DeMayo passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 59. She was born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, George Reed, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Jeffrey Francis DeMayo; her daughter, Leann Marie DeMayo; her sons, Jason Reed DeMayo (Veronica) and Daniel Reed DeMayo (Jeanette). She is also survived by her 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 3 grandchildren, 4 nieces, and 7 nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Dec. 30th at Mission Memorial Park & Seaside Funeral Home, 1915 Ord Grove Ave. beginning at 12pm. Burial at Mission Memorial Park will follow. Donations may be made in Sharon's memory to the SPCA.

We Entrusted Sharon DeMayo's Care To
Mission Memorial Park
For almost 100 years, our cemetery has served the residents of the Monterey Bay Area. Mission Memorial Park opened in 1934 as Mission Memorial Cemetery and for many years was run by the City of Monterey. In 1988, Monterey Peninsula Mortuary opened on the grounds of our beautiful Seaside location. In 2007 we closed our Chapel of Seaside at our Noche Buena location and merged the two to become Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park....
