Sharon Louise Penn

Sharon Louise Penn, nee Smith, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2018. She was born in Durango, Colorado on October 2, 1948 to Robert and Blanche Smith (nee Knight). She was raised near Bayfield, Colorado. Sharon is preceded in death by both of her parents and her younger brother Stanley Smith. She leaves behind her younger sister, Judy Perry (nee Smith) and younger brother Randy Smith. Sharon is also survived by her husband, John Penn, and her three children Loren Nickolds Wertz, Jhon Michael Penn, and Roxanne Jessalynn Penn. She graduated from Durango High School and attended Fort Lewis College. She also attended Portland State University. Raising her children was the greatest joy and source of pride in her life. Sharon was a tremendously creative person and enjoyed her hobbies of flower growing, painting, drawing, and ceramics.
