The VILLAGES-Sheldon D. Gash, 84, passed away on Friday, March 15th, 2019 after a valiant fight with heart disease. Shelly was the beloved husband of Helene (Schneider) Gash. They had a storybook marriage for 60 years. Shelly is survived by his children, Sheri Wolfe and husband Mark of Chicago, Morry Gash of Milwaukee and 4 grandchildren; Jamie, Bryan, Matt and Aaron. Born in Milwaukee, WI, Shelly was the son of the late Morris and Hilda (Glassman) Gash. A celebration of Shelly’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019 at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral & Cremation Life Event Center 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association (heart.org).
