Shelley Lynn Fisher was born in Portland Oregon on December 10, 1973 to Bellvena and Gerald Fisher. She was the oldest of three daughters and is survived by her sisters Jill and Suzanne; both parents and her step-father, Luris. She grew up in southeast Portland and attended school in the Centennial District. Her greatest joys were music and her beloved cats. She loved to attend concerts and listen to rock music. In 1995 she accomplished a life goal and was proud to receive her GED from Mt. Hood Community College. She went to work as a Cabin Services Supervisor for Delta Airlines where she met her life mate, Stephen. Working at the airlines made it possible for her to visit cities all across the United States and a very special trip to England where Stephen proposed marriage in front of St. Elthins Church in Warrington, England. Although Shelley never had children of her own, she delighted in her nieces and nephews who lovingly called her "BooBoo". She leaves Kyle, Ethan, Alexa and Katelyn with many happy memories to remember her by. Shelley's babies were her cats, which she adored. Smokey and Harley preceded her in death and Istvan is in Stephen's loving care. Shelly loved to read in her spare time and she collected fairy figurines and pictures. She and Stephen enjoyed the sport of target shooting. One of her favorite activities was an annual birthday trip to the Oregon Coast. Despite her health challenges, she loved life and looked forward to the future. Shelley passed away at home in Portland Oregon on Friday, May 11, 2012. Love Lives On Those we love are never really lost to us - we feel them in so many special ways- through friends they always cared about and dreams they left behind, in beauty that they added to our days... in words of wisdom we still carry with us and memories that never will be gone... Those we love are never really lost to us - For everywhere their special love lives on. By A. Bradley The family would like to thank everyone for their loving support. We would also like to give special thank to Kathleen Bukucs and Katherine Uhrig for their help. Again, thank you all for all your love and support. Service Information

Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Funeral Home

At Wilhelm's Portland Memorial, we have a rich history dating back to 1901 when we became the first crematory west of the Mississippi River, known then as The Portland Cremation Association. Our historic chapel, marked by its cornerstone placed on February 5th, 1901, has stood the test of time. Today, our memorial site spans 8 stories, approximately 7 miles of corridors of beautifully preserved architecture, and the largest mausoleum on the west coast, spanning 2.5 city blocks....
