Shirley Rogers Jeffcoat Evans, loving wife and mother, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2016. Born April 5th, 1953 in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Samuel Rogers and Annie Mae Warren Rogers, of Lake City, SC. She is survived by her husband, Roswell (Ozzie) Houghton Evans, Jr.; her children and grandchildren: Shannon Jeffcoat and his wife Cyndi, and their daughter, Brianna; Jeremy Jeffcoat and his wife Christy, and their sons, Cameron, and Mason; Samuel Adam Jeffcoat and his wife Amy, and their son, Walter (expecting); Daniel Evans and his wife Catherine, their daughter, Ashley (expecting) MacKenzie, and their sons, Dillan, DJ, and Roswell; Lori Torman and her husband Glen, their daughter, Sabrina and their son, Tyler. In addition to her family she is survived by her beloved animals: three dogs, Hannah, Daisy, and Champ; and a parrot, Bilo. A memorial service honoring Shirley's life will be held Saturday, January 30, at 2 p.m. at the Sandy Run Community Center, 1792 Old State RD, Gaston, SC. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the ASPCA, 424 E. 92nd St., New York, NY 10128-6804.
