Sidney Andrew Hopper of Winter Haven passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa. He was 56. A native of Eloise, born December 16, 1959 to Johnnie (Red) and Gertie Hopper, Sidney has lived here his whole life. He was a Welder for Gatlin, Inc. Sidney was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Johnnie Hopper Jr. and Bobby Hopper Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Karen Hopper; his sons: Jeremy and Ian Hopper of Winter Haven; his brother Felton Hopper of Auburndale; His sisters: Betty Flock of Winter Haven, Virginia Hopper of Bartow, and Vera Freeze of Eagle Lake.
