Socorro Barton September 13, 1959 ~ January 25, 2022 We knew little that day That God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, that day God called you home. Soakie Barton, was born September 13, 1959 in Artesia, New Mexico to her parents, Fadrique and Severa Saenz; she was the tenth child of thirteen born into this family. She was a Sales Associate at Wal-Mart for over 15 years. Things she enjoyed were listening to her audible books, talking on the phone shopping. Socorro was married for 45 years to her husband Frank and had three children and one grandson. She is preceded in death by both parents, Fadrique and Severa Saenz; Brothers Eloy Saenz, Fadrique Saenz, Jr., Efrain Saenz and Armando Saenz; Mother-in-Law Susan Pacheco. Those who will cherish her loving memory and she is survived by her loving husband Frank Barton, Sr., Son, Frank Barton, Jr., Daughters Sarah Barton and Samantha Barton; Grandson Nehemiah Barton; Brothers Raul Saenz and Oscar Saenz; Sisters Carol Machucha, Cathy Martinez, Elia McKinley, Elisama Garcia, Olivia Saenz and Alice Bachicha; Sister-in-Law Debbie Ramirez and Father-in-Law Charles Barton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins that live in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado. Visitation, Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 12:00pm, with a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00pm at Romero Funeral ~ Chapel of Repose, 15150 E. Iliff Avenue Aurora, Colorado.
