Stanley Lee Davis, 75, of Connersville, Indiana passed away July 30, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born July 12, 1946 to Shirley and Earl Davis in Connersville, Indiana.Stan graduated from Royerton High School in 1964.He enjoyed his nine grandchildren, tinkering with electronics, feeding the birds and spoiling his pups. In addition to electronics, Stan was passionate about motorcycles, sport cars, and pickup basketball. As a young man, after high school he joined the U.S. Air Force where he served with the Strategic Air Command in Alaska during the Cold War. The mainframe computer training he received in the service was in high demand. Upon discharge, he was offered a position with Digital Equipment Corporation (Digital went on to become Compac and then HP) where he stayed as a computer engineer for the rest of his thirty-five year career. He also received numerous awards and honors in this industry.He is preceded in death by his parents and his step-son Sean Patrick Farraher.Stan is survived by his wife, Rita Davis, his two sons, Mike and Scott Davis, his brothers, Jamie and Steven, and his three step-children.
