Stella Esala, 87, of Cloquet, died Sunday, June 14, 2009 in Sunnyside Health Care Center, Cloquet. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Pelagia Novacinski; her husband, Fred Esala; five brothers, Marion, Ben, Bernard, Stanley and Chester Novacinski and three sisters, Regina Paske, Bernice Himango and Helen Meger. Stella is survived by her son, Joe Esala of Daingerfield, TX; one grandson, Jerry Esala of Superior and four brothers, Walter Novacinski, Louis (Nancy) Novacinski, Henry Novacinski and Zegment (JoAnn) Novacinski all of Cloquet. Memorial Services were held on Thursday, June 18, 2009 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet, followed by a luncheon in the Fireside Room of the funeral home. Inurnment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Cloquet.
