Stephen Dwight Coon, 67, died peacefully at St. Francis Hospital, Colorado Springs, CO on February 8, 2019. A native of upstate New York, he spent the last few years living in Peyton, Colorado. Stephen was born May 16, 1951 in Oneonta, New York to James & Betty Coon. He was a proud Marine, serving in Vietnam from 1967 – 1969. Stephen travelled around the country visiting his family, and the last ten years called Colorado his home. He is survived by his sons, Brandle of Peyton, CO, Chad (Lisa) of Palm Bay, FL, Steven (Nancy) of Buena Park, CA, and their mother Peggy of Cobleskill, NY; three grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle and Olivia; five brothers and seven sisters, several nieces and nephews and his faithful companion, D.O.G. Stephen lived his life his own way with no regrets. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Semper Fidelis
