Susan L. Cadieux

January 17th, 1951 - July 31st, 2024

Susan Lee Cadieux, 73, passed away after a brief illness on July 31, 2024, at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital in Ocala, FL.  She was surrounded by her loving family.  Susan was born on January 17, 1951, in Providence, Rhode Island to Joseph and Florence (Paull) Cooke.  She had one sibling, her beloved sister, Linda.   Throughout her life, Susan was employed in a number of occupations, from a one-on-one teacher assistant for a special needs student to a variety of positions in the horse industry. 

 

Susan loved her dogs, Jesse James and Ruby Sinclair, her beautiful garden and flowers, her beloved family, her trips to the beach, and her many adventures with close friends.  Susan is survived by her beloved daughter-in-law, Jennifer Cadieux of Venice, Florida, two granddaughters, Tonya (TJ) and Samantha, two grandsons, David and Michael, two great grandsons, Christopher and Ricardo, and one great granddaughter, Isabella, all of Florida.  She will be forever missed by her sister, Linda Cooke Stanley Guilbault, of Rhode Island.

How did you meet Susan?

I met Susan when I went to work at OBS Feed. We worked together for six years and were friends for 30years. Many memories but, one that really stands out, was the first time I saw her iron money after she had of course washed it. I will miss her so much.
