Susann ""Sue"" Bessette, 75, of North Port, Florida, formerly of Seekonk, Massachusetts, passed away on September 5, 2021. Sue was born June 9, 1946, in Providence, RI to her parents, Anthony and Alice Butler. Sue received a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Salve Regina University, and she received her RN degree from St. Joseph's School of Nursing. She made a 40+ year career as a Registered Nurse/Supervisor and she was also a member of the Elks Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, Normand E. Bessette Sr.; parents Anthony E. and Alice Butler; siblings, Helene Donnelly, Alice Larkin, Anthony Butler, Joseph Butler, Edward Butler; stepson, Normand Bessette Jr. Sue is survived by son, Sean (Joline) Bessette; daughter, Danielle (Michael) Lamanuzzi; sister, Maureen (David) Tessier; grandchildren, Valerie Lamanuzzi, Eli Lamanuzzi, Kayla Rowell; great grandchildren, Kya Rowell, D.J. Rowell; stepson, Stephen Bessette. There will be a small gathering with family and friends in Massachusetts, where she will be buried with her husband, Normand E. Bessette Sr. Funeral Arrangements by Farley Funeral Home, North Port, Florida.
