Tafa'ilagi (Lani) L. Atalima May 4, 1958 -May 10, 2016 Tafa'ilagi passed away on May 10, 2016. She was 58 years old. She was born in Utulei, American Samoa. Tafa'ilagi was a Deaconess at Calvary Baptist Church in Marina. She is survived by her husband, Togalea Atalima; her son, Travis Atalima (Olivia); 2 grandsons; and a host of brother, sisters, and extended family. Visitation will take place on Thurs. May 26th from 6pm-8pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 160 Seaside Ave. in Marina, and also on Fri. May 27th from 8:30am until the Final Service begins at 11am at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial at Mission Memorial Park, 1915 Ord Grove Ave. in Seaside to follow. The family requests casual Aloha attire.

Mission Memorial Park
For almost 100 years, our cemetery has served the residents of the Monterey Bay Area. Mission Memorial Park opened in 1934 as Mission Memorial Cemetery and for many years was run by the City of Monterey. In 1988, Monterey Peninsula Mortuary opened on the grounds of our beautiful Seaside location. In 2007 we closed our Chapel of Seaside at our Noche Buena location and merged the two to become Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park....
