Tamera ""Angie"" Morris, 52, of North Port, Florida, originally of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on October 22, 2020. Angie was born on April 24th, 1968 in Columbus, Ohio. Angie had a special spot in her heart for the United States Military. She had numerous family members that served our country including her loving husband, Ed. Angie was a banquet manager for the American Legion in Ohio for 9 years. Once she moved to Florida, she transferred her membership to the American Legion Post 110 in Port Charlotte. She also loved riding motorcycles, camping, and spending time being around her family and friends. Angie is preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia Bennett. She is survived by her husband, Ed Morris of North Port, FL; father, Donald Bennett of Columbus, OH; step-daughter, Tiffany Freeman of Xenia, OH; step-son, Michael Morris of Weston, OH; sister, Maureen Hartin of PA and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 10:00AM-12:00PM with funeral service at 12:00PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Farley Funeral Home, 5900 South Biscayne Drive, North Port 34287. A private interment at Sarasota National Cemetery.
