Teresa Diakos

November 13th, 1960 - August 16th, 2024

“Please put God first in all you do!”

Teresa Diakos, Sunrise began on November 13, 1960, Orphaned at birth; child of God!  Moved to Ocala Florida 1980.

 

”Put God First” Everything accomplished only through God’s Grace and Mercy!  A Faithful member of New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church (Health Ministry).  “I have always felt at Home.”  “When prayer becomes habit, miracles become a lifestyle!” (Ernest).

 

Very blessed to have been strong, healthy and athletic (cross country, track and field, volleyball, weightlifter, Zumba Instructor, dancer).

 

Teresa studied at Central Florida Community College as a CNA and LPN before becoming a Registered Nurse. Worked at Ocala Regional Medical Center, from 1994-2018, Ocala ENT, contract ER nurse Florida and the Department of Corrections (Lowell Women’s & RMC). A volunteer nurse with the Jamaican Ecumenical Mutual Mission (WI), Red Cross, Freedom Health Clinic.

 

Proud member of Narcotics Anonymous, constantly carrying the message of Hope since 1989.

 

My most amazing relationship God, Jesus Christ my Savior.

 

So very blessed to have been the beloved mother and “Nona” to my beautiful family, daughter Andrea (Richard) Richie, Miles Orlando; daughter Eleanor (David) Tyjae, Alex, Kendall, Ocala; daughter Carlene (Davara) Charles, Daisha, Breanna (Dior), Zaeleigh, Jovanny, Linda, Ocala; son Carl “CJ”, III, Caiden, Carter, Elijah, Lennox, Ava, Olivia, Ocala; grandson/son, Charles, III., Ocala; sister Franci (Pete) Nicole, Jennifer (Minnesota) and many nieces and nephews.

 

Teresa loved Life!!! Serving God, family, friends travel, cooking, music, learning, dance and socializing.  

 

My message: “if we have touched each others lives, thank you for sharing this beautiful journey with me making life memorable....”

To my most beautiful, cherished family.... “Please put God first in all you do!”

Family and friends are encouraged to wear Bright tropical colored attire.
