MARINA, CALIFORNIA TERESA FUMIKO RUPPERT April 24, 1924 ? May 1, 2012 Teresa Fumiko Ruppert, 88, passed away on May 1, 2012. She was born on April 24, 1924 in Kitakyushu, Japan. Teresa is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Carroll Ruppert; two daughters, Anna (Greg) Clark of Oregon, Shirley (Tom) Martin of Marina, and son John (Pearly) Ruppert of Marina. She left five grandsons Josh, Chris, JC, Carl and Kevin. A private visitation and funeral service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Mission Memorial Park & Seaside Funeral Home, 1915 Ord Grove Avenue, Seaside, California. For almost 100 years, our cemetery has served the residents of the Monterey Bay Area. Mission Memorial Park opened in 1934 as Mission Memorial Cemetery and for many years was run by the City of Monterey. In 1988, Monterey Peninsula Mortuary opened on the grounds of our beautiful Seaside location. In 2007 we closed our Chapel of Seaside at our Noche Buena location and merged the two to become Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park....
