Terry G. Shatto

Summerfield, FL – Terry G. Shatto passed away on Sunday, August 15th, 2021, after a bout with cancer, while surrounded by family. Terry was born on August 4th, 1936, to Leona and Gale Shatto of Sidney, OH. Terry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Deanna R. Shatto; son Craig Shatto and wife Cindy of Summerfield, FL; brother Barry Shatto and wife Carol of Sidney, OH; and son-in-law Jimmy Bland of Ocala, FL. Terry was a proud grandfather of his beloved grandchildren: Gabriela Shatto of Clearwater, FL; Hunter Bland and wife Mariah of Williston FL; Dawson and Savannah Bland of Ocala, FL; and also, nephews Chad and Jason Shatto of Sidney, OH. Terry was predeceased by his daughter, Debra Ann (Shatto) Bland. Terry served three years in the Army stationed in Germany. During this time, he was able to explore Europe and had many fascinating stories that he shared with family and friends. He was a self-employed accountant for may years working within different industries. Terry and Deanna enjoyed traveling often. They loved living in their retirement community where they often participated in activities with friends. Terry was an avid reader of western books and enjoyed watching tv westerns. A memorial service was held at the VA cemetery in Bushnell, FL. He will be sadly missed by man
