Thomas "Tom" Roche

Thomas ""Tom"" Allen Roche, 47, of North Port Florida, formerly of Renovo, Pennsylvania, passed away on February 25, 2021. Tom was born on September 13, 1973 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to his parents, Joseph and Theresa Roche. He was a 1991 graduate of Bucktail Area High School in Renovo, Pennsylvania. He worked for Grande Aire Services for over 16 years as an air conditioning maintenance technician. Tom was a quick-witted, smart mouthed, loving, and caring man who loved his family more than anything. He was a hardcore Steelers fan, and he had a passion for fishing, softball, music, and early American history. He enjoyed going to air shows in Lakeland and Punta Gorda with his wife, children, and grandson. Although he was a big guy, he had a large, soft heart. His heart was overflowing with love for his wife, Amy, as they were always attached at the hip. He was a phenomenal educator and teacher. He knew so much useful information and loved to be able to share it with his family and friends. He was the kids' go-to person for everything, whether it be advice, a home improvement job, or a babysitter. He was always willing to help other friends and co-workers with anything they needed assistance on. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Paul and Theresa Louise (Colhocker) Roche. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Amy Summerson Roche of North Port; children, Joshua (Brooke) of Cape Coral, Shelby (the late Kevin) of Venice, Thomas II of North Port, Taylor of North Port; grandson, Kayden of Venice; brothers, Joe (Cindy) of PA and Patrick of PA. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 14251 Chancellor Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33953. He will be truly missed by all who loved him.
