Thomas Saim

Thomas L. Saim, 88, of Cloquet and Mission, Texas died on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 in Mission, Texas. He was born in Cloquet on December 18, 1917 to Ole and Mary Saim. Thomas was a World War II Veteran and retired from Wood Conversion in 1980. He enjoyed going to Texas for the winter, gardening, picking berries, playing golf and cards. He looked forward to having breakfast with his friends and co-workers. A special thank you to Bob Anderson who was always there to pick Tom up. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sisters and daughter, Mary Ann. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Mission, Texas; daughter, Jean Reponen of Cloquet; sons, Larry Saim of Kansas and Jim Saim of Britt, MN; brother, Wallace Saim of Texas; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren;four great great grandchildren and three more coming soon;one step grandson; several nieces, nephews and cousins, many good friends, and his dog, Peaches. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St., Cloquet.
