Tina was not just my best friends mom. She is my other mom. I needed her in my life - and she knew it. She let me and my sister hang out in her classroom when our grandma dropped us off at school at 6:45 in the morning as soon as the gates opened. As Kat and I became friends she accepted me whole heartedly and I will never forget seeing the redwoods and picnicking with her Juan. She taught me to teach, she taught me compassion, she taught me to see how everyone and everything contributes to our world. I love her. She is in my heart and in how I will contribute myself to mankind every day from now until forever. For my other dad, Juan. This is another journey and not an easy one - I love you too and am here for you always. Take care Mekel's, your matriarch is strong within Kat. She is amazingly strong, kind, and will be the best of Tina for you.
