Tracy Beasley Williams
June 19th, 1969 - May 20th, 2020
EASTOVER - On Wednesday, May 20, 2020, Tracy Beasley Williams (50), along with her husband, Karl Joseph Williams, passed away in their home in Eastover, SC. Tracy was born June 19, 1969 and raised in Hopkins, SC, the daughter of Sherman and Mary (Sullivan) Beasley. Tracy was preceded in death by her father, Sherman, and is survived by her mother, Mary Beasley, her sister, Wendy Beasley Harwell (Rob), nephews, Hunter Harwell and Devin Harwell, step-children, Jessica Williams and Kyle Williams, aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as innumerable sister-friends and cousin-ons, as she used the words so loosely because she considered everyone that she loved “family,” in one form or another. Together, Tracy and Karl made a home in a small farm house with green grass and shade trees where family and friends were always welcome to stop by, have a cold beer, maybe a shot of Dr. McGillicuddy’s, snap some beans from Tracy’s ridiculously oversized garden, and always lots of belly laughs. Tracy had a beaming smile and an infectious laugh. She accepted everyone without judgement. She had the biggest heart, the biggest smile, and even the biggest mouth sometimes, but always, always, always the biggest love for her family and friends. She was fiercely protective of her family, incredibly proud and would not miss an opportunity to brag on their accomplishments, especially those of her nephews and stepchildren. Tracy worked for many years at Margaret’s Diner where she knew her regular customers by name and likely had their order waiting for them when they got to the table. She was certainly a people person, if ever there was one, and the diner was the perfect little place for Tracy to share a part of herself with her community. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 29th, 2020 at Oak Grove Church, 1057 Congress Rd., Eastover, SC, at 4:30 pm. Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park is assisting the family.

We Entrusted Tracy Williams's Care To
Greenlawn Memorial Park
Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
