Ulrike Varnadore, 54, of Columbia, SC passed away October 6, 2016. She was born on September 23, 1962 in Germany to Otis Wilson and Rosemarie Rattinger Ferguson. Ulrike is survived by her loving husband Gregg N. Varnadore; children, Gregg N. Varnadore, II (Amber Davis) and Rosemarie Williams (Bobby Barnes); her mother, Rosemarie Ferguson (Wayne); grandchildren, Gabrielle Williams, Silvia Varnadore, Heidi Varnadore, Jayden Barnes, Gabriella Barnes and Destinee Turnage; brothers, James L. Wilson and Wayne Ferguson, II; three nieces , Leslie, Kayla and Sarah; nephew, Joshua; brothers and sisters in law, Tracy, Vonda, and Sandy; special friend, David Youngblood. She was preceded in death by her father, Otis Wilson. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on October 13, 2016 from 5:00PM - 6:00PM. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel immediately following visitation at 6:00 PM.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
