Venita Lund
February 18th, 1951 - April 6th, 2019
Venita, also known as "Tiny" went home with our Heavenly Father on April 6, 2019. Venita was born February 18, 1951 in Denver Co., she grew up in Trinidad Co and retired in Burlington Co. Venita was a loving and compassionate wife, mother and grandmother who spent her livings years showing her unconditional love for the Lord and her Family and Friends, and was an active member of Grace Community Church. Venita was very creative and had an infinite work ethic and an incredible love for children. Venita worked all of her life owning Venita's Ceramics and Joe's Buffet retiring from the United States Postal Service and Venita's Daycare. Venita was an avid Denver Bronco Fan and KKOA Car Club member. She was a participant in area Ceramics shows winning many awards for creativity in hand painting her masterpieces. Venita will be missed and loved by the many people who knew of the Jem she was. Venita is survived by her Husband of 25 years Frank Lund of Burlington Co, Daughters Renee Giron, Tracy and Jason Burke of Denver Co., Sons Gilbert Giron of Little Elm Texas, and Devon Stevens of Denver Co. Her stepchildren John of Arvada Co, and Kimberly Lund of Grain Field Kansas : and all of her loving and amazing grandchildren. Siblings; (sisters) Frances, Helen, Rita and Louise, (brothers) Manuel and Robert Giron all of Denver, Co. Venita had hundreds of nieces, nephews, in-laws, aunts and uncles and many dear friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. Venita is preceded in death by her parents Tibercio and Elicia Giron of Trinidad Co., Siblings Lolo, Frank, Betty Tom and Lupe all of Denver, Co. Services for Venita will be Friday April 19, 2019 with a Memorial Service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Romero's Family Funeral Home The Lund Family would like to share diner and memories of Venita immediately following the services at Romero's Family Funeral Home's reception area.
