Vera Rodriguez

Vera Rodriguez died peacefully December 9, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Paul Rodriguez, daughters Elaine Andrade and Rosie Rodriquez and son, David Rodriguez. She is survived by sons Ray and Rick Rodriguez and daughter, Kathy Rodriguez, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Theresa Cordova and Helen Trujillo. Vera was born in Crowley, Colorado and lived in Pueblo,where she raised her family, until 1982 when she and Paul moved to Denver. Vera loved children and was happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren and family. She loved to embroider and make green chili and collected anything roosters or chickens. Vera loved to go to church and listening to the Pastor talk. In the last two years she enjoyed the ladies and the Priest from the church going to pray with her at home. She was a big country western music fan and loved the old timers: Merle Haggard, Hank Williams and especially George Jones. She also loved the Mexican ranchero music. Vera loved working in the yard, planting and taking car of flowers. She was a hard worker who liked to keep herself busy.
