Victor Wayne King

Victor Wayne King, 75 Our Hero went to be with Mama and Jesus on Monday, March 4th, 2019 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, Florida. He was born in Sampson County, North Carolina on July 29th, 1943 to Davis Eldon King and Norma Ruth (Clifton) King. Daddy was a veteran of the United States Army as an MP and Infantry, with time served in Germany and was even chosen for Color Guard team in Belgium. Daddy was a born again Christian and has been healed and made whole by Jesus, walking with Mama on streets of gold. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Brian Kent King, and Gary Keith King; and recently by his wife of 55 years, Laura Francis King by eleven days. He is survived by three brothers, Hugh Davis King, Joel Durwood King, and Dennis Leon King; four children, Davis Paul King, Gerry Darren King and wife, Jonnie, Kenneth Wayne King and wife, Laura, and Laura Suzanne King; grandchildren, James, Katrina, Kiley, Blake, Tori, and Liam; great grandchildren, Jordan, Darren, Julianna, Jace, and Maddox. A Visitation will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 from 4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. Final Resting Place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
