Victor "Vic" Martinez Jr. August 21, 1947 - June 16, 2023 Our dear & beloved Victor Martinez went to be with his loving Father on the morning of June 16, 2023. He was surrounded by his loving wife, Cathy & family when he passed. Victor is preceded in death by his parents Victor Martinez Sr. and Juanita Martinez; sisters Evelyn Lara and Frieda Martinez Perez ; brother Larry Martinez. Surviving siblings are Marylan Martinez Williams (Dean) Littleton Co, George Martinez (Gloria)Arvada Co, Marcelo Martinez (Luisa)Tucson Az, Ivan Martinez (Lisa) Mogote Co, and Charles Martinez (Carol) Calhoun Ga. Victor was raised in the Mogote Colo. area, graduated from Antonito High School and served in the Army for 4 years. When arriving back in Colo about 1972 he continued his medical career as an EMT serving the Denver Metro Area with Ambulance Service Co for 23 years. Victor married the love of his life Oct. 1977 and began his family. Daughter Sherri Rael and son Justin Martinez; grandsons Gabriel Rael and Syrus Martinez. Victor so loved his family and is also survived by many nieces and nephews who he looked to carry life on! Fishing was Vic's great pass time and loved sharing the fruits of this hobby with family & friends. He used this time to clear himself of all stresses and enjoy the beauty of the state of Colorado. Another enjoyment for Vic was the family barbeques, back yard games and sharing conversations with family & friends present. He will be missed so much but leaves wonderful and beautiful memories. Family takes great comfort in knowing that Vic is at peace and the loving arms of his Father God. We welcome all to attend any memorial services in honor of Vic!
