Vivian J. Neville

Vivian J. Neville, aged 92, continued her eternal life in Jesus Christ, now without pain, on March 22, 2017. She was born in Corry, Pennsylvania on September 28, 1924 to the union of Frank and Dorothy Drake. She was the widow of retired CMSGT Joseph P. Neville. She attended school in Titusville, Pennsylvania, and was married to Joseph in June 1942. Their union lasted until Joseph's death in 2009. Vivian was the typical military wife, taking care of five children and packing up and unpacking through many moves of a thirty-year military career, residing in Colorado Springs since 1968. She enjoyed being a mother, and made holidays and birthdays a time of very special memories that her family has to remember. Vivian loved flowers and gardens, and every home she lived in reflected that love. She could look at any tree and tell you what type it was. She loved cooking, and was a great baker. Vivian was involved for many years with the Christian Women's Clubs. She enjoyed being in charge of the crafts and hosting many of the events for the club. Her Christian life was very important to her, and she was active in many Bible studies throughout her life. Living to remember her are her four sons, Joseph, Jr. (Martha), Thomas (Marilyn), Christopher, and Paul; her daughter, Laura Rose, who helped care for her in the last few years; her grandchildren, Joshua (Brooke), Adam (Natalie), and Troy (Taylor) Neville, and Mary (Derek) Roberts; her great-grandchildren, Addalyn and Lincoln Neville, and Gracie and Luke Roberts; her brother, David (Elaine) Hallberg; and nephews, Eric (Lu Ann) and John (Erin) Hallberg, and their children, Jake, Eva, Hailey, and Kaitlyn.
