Vivian Stoney Richardson West Columbia—Funeral services for Vivian Stoney Richardson, 86, of West Columbia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012 in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Officiating will be Rev. Brett DeYoung. Interment will follow at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Richardson, widow of Willie M. Richardson, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late John B. Stoney and Henrietta Jones Stoney. Mrs. Richardson is survived by her sister, Mary Jane Stoney Bailey; step-daughter, Annie Mae Rhodes; and step grandchild, Jean Dial. She was preceded in death by her brother, John B. Stoney and her sister Bula Branham. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Richardson's honor to the American Liver Foundation, 75 Maiden lane, Ste. 603, New York, NY 10038.
