Wadene Edward Morris WEST COLUMBIA: Service for Wadene Edward Morris, 69, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2011, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Rev. James Goudelock. Interment will follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Mr. Morris went to be with his Lord, Tuesday, December 06, 2011. Born in Clarendon County, SC, he was a son of the late Edward Eula Morris and Adelle Reardon Morris. He was retired from Amick Equipment Company; and was a member of New Hope Christian Fellowship. Surviving are his wife, Carrie Nell Eaddy Morris of West Columbia; sons, Ken Morris (Stephanie) of Greenville, Kevin Morris (Terra) of Lexington, Kirk Morris and Kerry Morris (Vesta) all of West Columbia; sisters, Arnette Jordan of Columbia and Deloris Hewitt of Coward; brother, Wayne Morris of Kingstree; twelve grandchildren, Celeste, Cameron, Caleb, Chelsea, Crystal, Ciera, Clay, Madison, Shelby, Lily, and Emma Morris, and Stacy Dock. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by one granddaughter. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Lexington Oncology, 8th floor nurses and staff in Lexington Medical Center and to Heartland Rehab Staff.
