William “Bill” W. Adent, 69, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away suddenly on July 13, 2012 in Venice, FL. Bill was born July 17, 1942 in Evergreen Park, IL to Helen (Oypt) and Walter Adent. Bill was the cherished husband to Barbara (Morrison), his high school sweetheart, for nearly 50 years. Bill was a loving father to his three children: Christine (John) Ulibarri of Gilbert, AZ; Deborah (Darrel) Packard of Schaumburg, IL; Gregory (Amy) Adent of Overland Park, KS; an adoring grandfather to his nine grandchildren: Nichole, Amanda, Curtis, Samantha, Sarah, Sophie, Rachel, Brett and Sean; and a fond brother to, John Adent of The Villages, FL; son-in-law to, Arlene Morrison of Venice, FL; and was a blessed uncle to his six nieces and nephews. Formerly of Schaumburg, IL where he owned his own Manufacturing business for over 25 years, Bill and his wife retired to Venice, FL in 2004 to live on the golf course. Bill was an avid golfer and very involved in the Pelican Pointe Golf and Country Club. His family will remember him as a fun loving father and a man who cared deeply about his friends and community. Bill could accomplish anything he set his mind to. His many lifelong friends both in Illinois and Florida were a testimony to his character. His laughter and good humor will be remembered forever. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3-5 PM, Wednesday, July 18th at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 19th at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, FL. In lieu of flowers the family has requested Memorial Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692
